ARTLAB is Happening!

All your questions answered....about a festival you have never heard of.

What is this "ArtLab"? It is a brand new interactive arts festival brought to you by the Burien Creative District. Guests will be not only patronize the event, but participate! Vendors have been invited to create immersive experiences for folks to enjoy.

What do you mean by art? Are we talking painting only? Art in all its forms will be present. Visual and Performance artistry will all be on display.

Multiple stages will feature, local bands, ensembles and poets while buskers and roving entertainers will take to the street.  Art encounters will pepper the block with opportunities at every turn to interact and create!

When is this life changing get-together taking place? August 29th from 11am-6pm

Where will this epic labrynth of artistic wonder take place? On SW 153rd Street between 6th Ave and Ambaum. In other words, right in front of the Heart Gallery.

How much will going to this legendary event going to cost me? Nothing. You get all this merriment for free.

How is the Heart Gallery Involved? We will have several outdoor free community painting experiences for all ages. Inside (21+) we will host an open mic from 11am-3pm for singers, songwriters, players and poets. You can sign up at the Heart Gallery on festival day! From 3-6 the Burien Creative District will be curating a show of local performers. Freestyle painting available indoors. Canvas prices will vary. Discounts and Giveaways will be in play!
